Advocare Results & Final Days on the Shore

24 Day Challenge Results:
We can not say enough positive things about these products. We started this challenge to get a hold of our diets with a healthy approach. We both wanted to lower our BMI and make lean muscle.

Toby:
Lost 10 lbs.
3 inches off chest
2 inches off stomach
1 inch off butt
.5 inch off legs
1.5 inches off arms

Danielle:
Lost 6 lbs.
1 inch off chest
2 inches off stomach
2 inches off butt ( it's a miracle)
.5 inch off legs

**** Due to moving we haven't taken our before and after shots and combined them. We will do that when we find our computer.

Overall Opinions on the Products:
- We are in love with the products. Catalyst and Spark will continue to be utilized in our home (wherever that may be). We will continue with a few of the products.

-Spark- tons of energy and long lasting effects... Trust me there is no bloating unlike my past love coffee did to me the day after the challenge... Yea I just wanted one cup :/ LESSON LEARNED!!

- Catalyst is defining my muscles lean which means I'm excited for shorts and tank tops.

- I loved the meal replacement shakes but if you work out in the morning and drink the shake before 7am you will be hungry by 10 am...That's just me!

- Toby and I are going to try out the Performance Elite and Active line to enhance our workouts.

- SUPER HAPPY WITH OUR RESULTS!! And enjoying all the benefits of healthy living.

- Our pocketbooks are thanking us because the diet has encouraged us in making healthy choices and eating those options at home instead of buying snacks.

- We are going to continue our healthy lifestyles but we will treat ourselves from time to time.

BUSY Week :)

Our week was C.R.A.Z.Y.

Yea to new beginnings but dang is there a ton of work that needs to be done in order for it to happen!

1. I handed in my formal resignation letter to end my teaching position here in VA.

2. I packed up my classroom and gave a ton of crap away (less to bring back = more space for other stuff). I have TWO days left of work this week. CANNOT WAIT to be DONE!!!!

3. We moved up our moving date! Thursday we are out of here!!!

4.  Tall ships came to Cape Charles, VA.

Who needs a house when you can own this?

A beautiful sunset....I will miss these!

5. Sunday is our last day of our 24 day CHALLENGE!!!! Stay tune for our results. I feel very lucky to have been introduced to these products and my results are awesome for not getting to the gym or out running much!

6. Depressing news....we cancelled our honeymoon this week due to Toby's new job. Brighter news is that I get to look forward to booking and planning our honeymoon for December. By that point we will be glad to leave the snow belt!

We will be excited to leave this :)

7. I have a phone interview with a local school district on Monday! Send some good vibes my way so I can land a great job and not sub next school year!

8. I went to the Oyster Sanctuary this week with the Biology students. The science teachers are awesome. Their students raised baby oysters to add to the sanctuary, built oyster pods, and identified a bunch of critters living in the oyster rocks.

9. I said goodbye to a few high school seniors on Saturday. It was awesome to see them move forward in life. Congrats all high school graduates!

10. No blog would be complete without evidence of us packing, and moving crap!

Goals for the week:
1. Move to PA
2. Aim for a short workout every day.
3. Spend some time with mis padres!
4. Do well on this INTERVIEW!!!!

QUESTIONS:
1. What are your goals for the week?
2. Advice for moving?

Weekend Recap

Hello again!

We had a very productive weekend.
We spent some quality time with the Gus man. He is loving the morning walks (to bad he didn't get one Sunday morning...opps)
I want to go on a W-A-L-K!!!

The weather has been crazy with humidity, rain, and sun. So, we spend Saturday afternoon and night watching some Red Box movies.... We rented Warm Bodies, 10 Year, and Guilty Trip. My review all were pretty boring. I won't be rushing out to purchase them again.

Sunday we spent some much needed time organizing and packing up kitchen stuff and decorations that aren't necessary. The more we get done the faster we can get out of here!!!!

Working out is going well. I'm sticking to three days on and one day off. I like this routine it works for me. 8 minutes of 80s workouts having been wonderful this week.. I feel the burn (minus the soup cans)! Morning runs have been successful too :) Trying to convince the husband to join in on the running train so we can train for the Las Vegas Marathon...How cool would it be to run the strip at night? I see this happening in my future (hopefully this year but I'll accept next year!)

Apartment/house hunting has been an awful experience...Too many craigslist scammers and way to much time getting our hopes up. Luckily we have family close by to live with until we find a place. Which brings up to the buy or rent house debate we have over and over again. Any advice??

Since we have about 2 weeks left her in good ole Cape Charles, VA. We will be taking an hour or two a day packing and spend some quality time on the shore before it's time to move on with our lives... :)
The tall ships come to town next weekend so we will be enjoying the festivities of food (thank goodness Sunday will mark the end of our 24 day challenge I'm sure there will be tons of delicious but not nutritious food around and I have a great reason to stay away from it), music, ships, and tons of vendors.

 Week Goals
1. Make some calls on potential clients for Advocare.
2. Pack
3. Apply to some job prospects
4. Enjoy my time here on the shore with my loves :)
5. Dominate morning workouts

What are you goals for the week??

Other News:

1. Since we are making out bodies healthy, we decided to clean out our closets. Saturday we spent the afternoon sorting stuff into three piles: keep it, dumpster, and donate it. We did great...I'm so proud of us....mostly myself because I hate throwing anything away. I said goodbye to a ton of my undergrad. binders filled with old school projects (Toby complained every time we have moved because I never used any of the work)

2. 21 DAYS until we are reunited with friends and family :)))))))

3. Kayaking is an awesome workout and a peaceful date! The beach was packed and the only quiet part was out in the kayak.

4. I've been bringing back the 80s with 8 Min Abs, Legs, Arms, and Buns. I have to giggle every time I see the spandex. Just for your viewing pleasure...your welcome..... My ABS H.U.R.T!!!!

5. Gus is going to love his new training collar he just doesn't know it yet...
Gus: What mom? I know what I'm doing is wrong I'm just not okay with what you are asking!! I do what i want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Me: Will you do it for ice cream?

Gus: I think a better question is what won't I do for ice cream? And we both know the answer to that NOTHING!
Older picture...but this is how well he behaves with one word ... ice cream
Yes, that is a baby mattress and it was his bed (he didn't like it because it made too much noise..high maintenance)
Yes, that was an extra tv on the floor so my husband could play video games while I watched chick shows. He no longer has that tv :)
 6. Toby is mastering this healthy, clean eating. Check out last night's dinner :-)  We definitely need a bigger grill it took Toby an hour and a half and alot of complaining to finish everything lol

7. Toby and I are those old married people set in their ways... We have one program we have to watch every night! We eat and clean up the kitchen all before 7 pm so we can watch re-runs of The Big Bang Theory... Geeks!!!
